Tips and Tricks for Navigating Your Proofing Gallery

That video is segmented, so you can easily find specific resources you need, and it has additional information that isn't easily shared in writing.

Accessing Your Gallery

First and foremost, you'll go ahead and click on the Open Gallery. Then, you will need to put in your email address. And then, we get another prompt to unlock our admin privileges. The email inviting you to your gallery should have the access code. If you didn't see one, please let us know.

Inside Your Gallery

Once in your gallery, you're going to find multiple albums available to you. And depending upon the nature of your photo session, you may see two, three, four, or more.

Photographer's Choice Album

Images inside the Photographer's Choice album have benefited from the full suite of our editing techniques, software programs, and general skills.

Other Choice Albums

The images in these galleries are all great photos that we believe will match everyone's expectations once we've processed them. So you can feel confident choosing photos from these galleries, just like the images in the Photographer's Choice. And in fact, we want to ensure that you feel comfortable doing so because we don't expect your tastes to always align with ours.

Choosing Your Favorite Images

You do have the ability to favorite any photograph. There are a couple of ways to do this. One, you can select the star logo underneath any image, and two, press the letter 'F' on your keyboard. The Favorite icon will show as a star in the top right corner on some screens and on the bottom of your image on other screens.

Hiding Images in Your Gallery

You can also hide photos. Select the eye icon underneath any image or press the letter 'H' on your keyboard. Like the Favorites label, this label will show differently on different screens. When you hide photos, other visitors won't see them when they come to your gallery. You also get a separate album where you'll be able to see just the photos you've hidden. So, that's an essential tool when you have private images, but you still want family and friends to see most of the pictures.

Labeling and Hotkeys

In addition to Favoriting and Hiding, you can use the keys 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 to label your photos. These labels show at the top of the image; you can use them to categorize images as you see fit.

There are a couple of ways to see your labeled images categorically. First, you can come down to the bottom of the screen, click on the label icon, and then click View All Labeled Photos on the pop-up screen.

Alternatively, you can access your Labeled "Albums" via the menu bar at the top of your screen.
